Interested in hosting a Sisko "Raise a Racquet" Tournament?
Here are the Parameters

Sisko Grants: The funds you raise will continue to go directly to LOCAL breast cancer researchers. This year we gave $10,000 to Lineberger. Every year The Sisko Foundation also gives a grant to the Rex Mobile Mammography Unit which travels through our state providing mammograms for uninsured women.In the past we have also given large grants to Sicel technologies for it's ongoing development of sensor technology for cancer treatment and UNC's Lineberger Center's projects."

Tournament: The set up of how you want to run your tournament (ie. matches, divisions, etc.) will be decided by you and your tennis professional. We suggest that you charge $15 to $50 per person to enter each division. This will be decided by you, depending on what you feel your location can bear. If you do not have a pro and need help setting up a tournament, call us.

Marketing Collateral: Raise a Racquet will supply you with .pdf form posters that can be adapted and printed by you for your individual tournament needs. We will also supply "Raise a Racquet Against Breast Cancer" bag tags and hand made lapel pins (while available). We suggest you find a corporated sponsor(s) to underwrite the prizes, balls, etc. Your organization can work out the details with each sponsor(s) concerning their banners, display tables and advertising. If you cannot obtain help from a sponsor, then every team (dobules) or individuals (singles) supply a can of balls and hand them over upon registration for the pro to distribute as needed. Any left over can be given as another form of prize.

Food: Legally, we cannot help to provide you with refreshments. Most local beer/soda distributors will be willing to donate their products if you will display their logo/banners. Locally, restaurants are also usually willing to donate their fares for such cause.

Payment: Each person's entry fee check can be made out directly to "The Sisko Foundation" and can be used as a receipt for a totally tax deductible donation.
